Chain Link Fences 101

Chain link fences are the most economical permanent fences available today, both in terms of initial price and maintenance. Chain link fence (sometimes called cyclone fences) can be used for many different applications and can be used on almost any terrain or grade.

In addition to industrial applications, chain link fence is being used more and more frequently for residential yards. Many newer communities will only allow residents to build chain link fences in order to maintain the park-like feel of the area.

Gauge and thickness varies from one fence to another. Barbed wire is available for commercial/industrial security applications. Colors vary with black or green coated pipe and chain link fabric. Privacy slats and windscreens are also available in a variety of colors.
